Uneven roadway surface

This intersection has considerable dips in the shoulders that make it difficult for larger vehicles to negotiate especially when traveling east on Washington and turning south on Rowland. There is a large rise in Washington Street which can throw a vehicle traveling north on Rowland and crossing onto Petrified Seas Gardens Road. Although no warning signs exist, it is necessary to slow to a speed far below the speed limit to cross Washington without nearly being thrown airborn
